Since their founding, they have furthered the use of games in education and community programs across the US by impacting more than 9,000 students from coast to coast. The Tabletop Alliance does this by sending FREE game kits of modern board, card, and role-playing games to those who either currently or want to use games in their work as educators, librarians, and community leaders.
Child's Play

Child’s Play Charity delivers therapeutic games and technology directly to pediatric hospitals to improve patients’ lives through the power of play. Child’s Play Charity is rooted in the healing power of play. Endowed by the gaming community, Child’s Play is devoted to improving the lives of children and teens in children’s hospitals.

Board Games for the Better is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that gifts board games and board game experiences to underserved communities to improve mental health, relieve stress, and provide opportunities for social engagement.

Take This is a 501(c)(3) non-profit mental health organization providing comprehensive resources and support that is tailored for the unique needs of the game development community and embraces the diverse cultures and issues of the game community. They combine clinical best practice with a love of all things gaming, providing a safe, accepting space for gamers and developers. They work work in a spirit of partnership with other organizations addressing these issues among game enthusiasts, streamers, and creators.

AbleGamers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization using the power of video games to fight social isolation and improve quality of life for people with disabilities. For over 20 years, they’ve been building inclusive gaming communities by providing custom accessibility solutions at no cost to the players they serve. From adaptive controllers to peer support and outreach, their mission is rooted in one simple idea: everyone deserves the right to play.

Specializing in Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TTRPGs), they create resources and training that build academic skills, socioemotional growth, critical thinking, and collaboration. By blending research with practical application, TabletopEDU helps educators transform learning through inclusive, engaging, and screen-free game-based experiences that inspire confidence and real-world success.
Lyndhurst Education and Advocacy Foundation (LEAF)
Lyndhurst Education and Advocacy Foundation (LEAF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering the autism community through scholarships, inclusive education grants, enrichment programs, and media initiatives that amplify neurodivergent voices. LEAF expands access to innovative, strength-based opportunities that foster confidence, connection, and self-advocacy for autistic individuals.
UnboxEd Afterschool Program
UnboxEd is a 501(c)3 nonprofit team of educators and game designers who transform tabletop games into engaging afterschool lessons that ignite students to become independent learners. UnboxEd offers a fun, interactive approach to building skills and exploring ideas not found in standard curriculum. Their 90-minute in-person classes range from Entrepreneurship and Storytelling to STEM and History. Using game-based learning, they present an alternate lens to what education can look like.
